Manufacturing Quality and Distribution
In 1975, a manufacturing and distribution facility was established in Brisbane creating a footprint for expansion into the industrial markets in Australia and Southeast Asia. Further developments continued with consumer packaged solvents, coolants and related products and services. In 2006, the Diggers brand was acquired completing a solid platform for increased penetration into the consumer markets. Today, Recochem Australia has an established sales, blending, bulk storage, logistics and sales infrastructure serving the Australasian customer base. Capabilities are further leveraged by Queensland Blow Moulders, Recochem’s specialized HDPE and PET bottle blowing facility.
Our Brisbane site is the primary supply hub for the Australasian region and is supported by manufacturing facilities in Adelaide and Perth and state based warehouses. All sites are fully licensed for the manufacture and storage of dangerous goods and related products and are supported by a national Safety, Health and Environment program.

Recochem Australia has grown into one of Australia’s leading chemical blending, processing and packaging companies. Handling millions of kilograms of materials each year, Recochem distributes bulk and consumer products in a multitude of pack sizes ranging from 125mL to 25,000L.The depth of these products and services extend across the consumer, industrial, trading and automotive markets reaching millions of end users.
Consumer Division
Servicing the hardware, grocery, automotive, mass merchant, paint and independent channels, goods and services are marketed either as private labels or under Recochem, including our Diggers™ brand.
Industrial / Trading Division
Our industrial and trading divisions service thousands of customers with a seemingly endless range of solvents, blends and specialty products across the surface coating, agricultural, printing, mining, petroleum, health, automotive and janitorial services industries. From formulation advice through to international sourcing, our reputation for exceeding customer expectations is strong. Dyestuffs, pigments, surfactants, acids and castor oils form a small part of an extensive selection of chemicals sourced internationally for resale and use in Recochem’s manufacturing operations.
Automotive Division
Recochem supplies automotive products and services to the retail, trade and heavy duty diesel markets. World class coolant technologies enable us to manufacture high quality products for many market leaders including Repco, SuperCheap Auto, Nulon, MTU/DDA, John Deere, Shell and Fuchs. We are focused on the delivery of products and services that meet our customer’s needs; whether it be a house brand and private labelling, technical advice or formulation development.
