MEK
MEK is a strong solvent and degreaser. It is excellent for dissolving resins and adhesives and removing old finishes and contact cement.
It can be used for cleaning fiberglass repair tools and for thinning fiberglass resins and is an excellent diluent for lacquer thinners.
MEK is a highly volatile solvent that evaporates quickly. It is used by professional paint shops and painters to thin acrylics and lacquers and other projects where epoxies are used.
We advise caution in handling and storing since MEK is flammable. Recochem MEK has a low odor and fumes from spills may not be easily detected.
Ideal for automotive parts, marine and paint sundry departments.
