Premium RV Plumbing Antifreeze
Recochem Premium RV Plumbing Antifreeze is designed for use in campers, trailers, cottages and boats. Also safe for swimming pool filtration and heating systems. This product is not designed for elevated temperature uses such as boilers, solar systems, evaporator coolers and heat pump loop systems.
In the fall, before the first frost the plumbing system should be drained of as much water as possible. Pour non-toxic RV Plumbing Antifreeze into the plumbing system this will prevent pipes from bursting in cold weather. It is difficult to drain all the water from plumbing systems, care should be given to ensure that as much water as possible is drained and that the antifreeze is used undiluted. If the antifreeze is diluted with water, it will reduce the level of burst protection. For recreational vehicles please read owner’s manual for further details. Bring container to room temperature before using.
Our RV Plumbing Antifreeze is a mixture of propylene glycol and water. It is completely non-toxic and, if used as directed, it is not harmful to the environment.
Plumbing antifreeze does not have a definite freezing point but turns thick and viscous as the temperature drops. For this reason it is correct to refer to “burst protection” rather than freeze point. Recochem’s formulation will provide burst protection up to
-50ºF, when undiluted.
