Linseed Oil – Pale Boiled

Treated linseed oil, commonly called ‘Boiled Linseed Oil’ is obtained by pressing seeds of the flax plant. It is primarily used as a timber preserver as it offers increased water resistance.

Features:

  • Dries faster than Raw Linseed Oil.
  • Has added drying agents to speed up drying time.
  • When applied to a porous surface it fills the pores and as it is exposed to air it gels to form a protective film.
  • When added to oil-based paints it helps brushing and aids timber protection.
  • Increases water resistance.
  • Commonly used as a sealer and protective coating for concrete paths and floors, flagstones or interlocking stones as well as a timber stainer.

Packaging:
Pale Boiled Linseed Oil is available in drums and 20 litre containers.
